(Aug 15, 2018) The Sudbury Station developer responded to an RFP issued by the Town for the Melone gravel pit located on Route 117. The developer proposed to relocate its development from the Town Center, to Melone, and end litigation. The new development would be called Quarry North. The Board of Selectmen asked Town Departments and Committees for feedback on the proposal, which was submitted by 8/15. The feedback was overwhelmingly in support of the relocation as proposed by the developer, subject to the final negotiation of a development contract and Zoning Board review.
